The person in this role will support a Domestic/International Distributed Windows and Linux Engineering Computer Infrastructure. This position will be responsible for developing processes, standards, and integrating architected solutions into various environments. The potential candidate will be responsible for the coordinating day to day events within multiple global sites, as well as providing escalation support via a ticketing system, telephone calls, direct emails, etc.. Analyze and make suggestions on the improvement to the overall infrastructure. Provide Escalation support to assist global site troubleshooting effort of client issues.. Participate in cross functional discussions regarding usage. Server administration tasks (backups, upgrades, etc.) . Windows/Linux server tuning . Participate in the architecture process for distributed solutions. . Knowledgeable in UNIX/Linux2+ yrs. exp with above mentioned technologies & tasks. 5+ yrs. of Windows Server Experience with Expert Level Troubleshooting Skills. Active Directory design and configuration experience. Scripting Language Experience (VBScript, PERL, PowerShell). Linux Server experience. SQL Server Experience. Basic understanding of SCM and software development processes. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with culturally diverse customers and partners from both IT and Engineering.
