Global Information Technology Manager

Onity, a UTC Fire and Security Company, is seeking an experienced Global IT Manager to lead and manage its portfolio of critical applications and infrastructure. Key Job Requirements include but not limited: * Lead the technical staff professionals to provide steady-state support to functional areas for Onity . Leverages support from external implementation partners including CSC, software product vendors and offshore/domestic partners. The responsibility includes management of service delivery from partners, infrastructure support, disaster recovery, high availability of the applications, software change control, performance tuning and production support. * Work with departmental leadership to develop multi-year IT strategies and supporting business cases. This includes strategies for software upgrades and new technologies in support of the business vision.  * Develop the annual IT plan and associated development and operating budgets. Manage spending activities within these budgets. * Provide program management for strategic initiatives. Provide periodic updates to Onity and Global Security Products Group divisional leadership. * Drive continual improvement efforts in support of IT and corporate goals. * Ensure compliance with United Technologies IT policies and controls. Masters degree in Computer Science, Management Information or equivalent experience Exceptional and demonstrated technology skills, infrastructure management skills, organizational skills and interpersonal skills.  5 to 8 years related experience working for a fast paced, progressive organization  Application implementation/integration life cycle experience Application administration/operational support experience Strong project / program management experience Experience managing and leading large teams Experience managing vendor relationships Experience presenting to all levels of management Onity, a UTC Fire and Security Company, is a worldwide leader in providing electronic locks, safes and energy management solutions to the hospitality and commercial sector.
