Responsible for the governance and integrity of solution designs across the portfolio of service offerings. Participates in Qualification and acts as a point of escalation for bid support throughout the bid lifecycle. Leads the solutioning team in assisting in the capture and understanding of Market requirements and drivers in order to improve and prioritise the Portfolio development. Supports the development of major client opportunities and builds long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders within targeted organizations. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Technology: Establishes a clear understanding of the offerings in the portfolio, the gaps in those offerings and understands how to integrate those offerings into a coherent solution. Contributes to the commercial modelling of components within the portfolio. People: Utilizes extensive business and industry knowledge to build long-term relationships outside the company to facilitate meeting customer commitments. Supports pursuit teams as the point of advice and escalation for all issues relating to a solution. Assists in the decision making process by reviewing presentations of the solution in support of business reviews. Is conscious of the commercial implications of the portfolio of service offerings and optimises solutions to the commercial requirements of the business. Responsible for the development of solution staff and the management of their career paths. Customer: Assists in and supports client activities to ensure that there are no gaps or inconsistencies in the initial solution design, deliverables, benefits, and messaging. Leverages relevant industry understanding when developing solutions. Provides trusted advisor point of contact for key client staff (CIO, CTO and their direct reports). Part of the core team in the qualification and down selection process with new and existing customers. Assists in the analysis of new product suggestions for the portfolio from the perspective of the customer and utilises key customer relationships to test new products. Business: Manages the trajectory of solution design to ensure that solutions presented to customers meet market demands and produce the required business outcomes for CSC. Provides solutioning resources to lead the deal shaping, estimating, costing and solutions strategy for the integrated bid. Assists in pricing of integrated bids. Financial: Is conscious of bid budgets and seeks innovative ways of minimising bid expenditure whilst maximising the potential for a successful outcome. Acts as the point of contact for costing of the integrated solution.
