In order to be eligible for the GIS Database Administrator position, you must meet the minimum qualifications listed below. Please review these qualifications prior to applying to this position:

Qualification Option # 1:
Possession of an Associates degree in Computer Science
OR A 2 year College Certification in GIS

AND
Work experience as a database administrator using SQL server or Oracle in a GIS environment.

Qualification Option # 2:
Possession of an Associates Degree in Computer Science, experience creating and editing specialized GIS maps using ARC INFO software and experience troubleshooting GIS database functionality.

Qualification Option # 3:
Completion of college coursework in any the following areas: Spatial Analysis, Geographical Analysis, Computer Programming (Visual Basic) and Database Management

AND
Work experience as a database administrator using SQL server or Oracle, work experience creating and editing specialized GIS maps using ARC INFO software and work experience troubleshooting GIS database functionality.
