Full Time Keyboarding and Computer Skills Instructors - Spring 2011 Semester

Terms of Employment: Anticipated courses will be taught on the Cranford, Elizabeth, and Plainfield campuses - days, evenings, and/or Saturdays.

Description: Candidates must be able to type a minimum of 60 WPM and teach keyboarding, Word, and PowerPoint, basic computer concepts, and Internet concepts. Candidates must have a comprehensive knowledge of Word 2007 and PowerPoint 2007 and be familiar with Office 2010. Candidates must have a strong command of the English language and business communications. Candidates must possess high ethical standards and professional excellence to ensure that students are given quality education and ensure equal opportunity to succeed in the course. Anticipated positions include keyboarding & computer skills for nursing students and keyboarding courses for all students.

Requirements:

Requirements & Qualifications: Candidates must possess a master’s degree in business education, information technology, or a similar field. Teaching experience preferred. Use of a learning management system a plus. If called in for an interview, applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in keyboarding, Word, and PowerPoint. If hired, candidate must take ANGEL training at Union County College prior to the start of the semester.
