We currently have a position for a Facility Technician to join our group. The Facility Technician will provide routine repairs and maintenance of office facilities and equipment at the local facility in Ashburn, VA.

 

Role:

 

Perform maintenance and repairs on the HVAC systems, EG/UPS/ATS.

 

Perform security system monitoring/servicing, plumbing, carpentry, roof repair,

shipping & receiving, trash & snow removal, janitorial services, and general grounds keeping.

 

Perform basic electrical, mechanical, plastic or sheet metal fabrication on plant facilities using hand and power tools.

 

 

Required Skills:

 

Ability to juggle multiple tasks; proactive; willing to be hands-on for maintenance & repair tasks.

 

Understanding of the inter-relationships between the various facility infrastructure systems in a 24x7 call center environment.

 

Previous maintenance experience with HVAC RTU’s, VAV’s, UPS’s, computer room air handlers and the Building Management Control System or similar HVAC and building systems.

 

Able to perform routine inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary.

 

Desired Skills:

 

Computer literate.

 

Able to do web searches for technical information and parts ordering to support maintenance and repairs.
