Job Description:

 

Our client company seeks an extraordinarily gifted technology specialist to provide direct support to the firm’s founder.  The successful candidate will work closely with the company’s highly skilled IT systems staff and will be responsible for meeting the founder’s short- and long-term technical needs. 

 

The responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

 on-site, off-site, and telephone support for all technology-related needs of the firm’s founder; installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices; management of desktop technology-related research projects; identification and recommendation of process improvements; testing and evaluation of products and solutions which may enhance the founder’s efficiency and productivity; monitoring the progress of technical projects assigned to other groups; training of the backup technical support staff; and involvement in the firmwide technology projects which are not directly related to the founder. 

 

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in communications and audio-visual technology (Blackberry, video conferencing, etc.).  Programming ability is a significant advantage, but is not required.  Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and outstanding organizational and project management skills.
