Epic Pharmacy System Analyst 

Job Responsibilities:
Provide business systems and applications analysis in support of the development of new business applications, including evaluation, analysis, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
Formulate and define systems scope and objectives based on both end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.
Conduct need and gap analysis and provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
Develop detailed implementation and upgrade project plans in conjunction with other account team associates.
Classify problems as system, training, or process and recommends corrections.
Unit test modules before implementation and review end-user documentation (user guide, process flow charts, and training materials) for accuracy.
Select or create appropriate scenarios to test all results to determine whether system changes met project specifications; uses scenarios in end user acceptance testing.
Operate as a liaison between technical personnel and the appropriate end-user department.
Evaluates and translate end user needs and problems to technical associates.
Teach end users new technology and enhancements using all appropriate communication tools as well as providing support for existing system procedures.
During upgrades, monitor production performance enhancements and system integrity with end-users.

Required Skills:
Experience in Pharmacy system design and build
Pharmacy background
Pharmacy system implementation experience
3 years clinical experience
Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills:
EPIC Pharmacy system experience

Minimum Educational Requirements:
Bachelors degree in related medical field

Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
Certified Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician
EPICRX Certification, EPIC Orders
