Installation/Maintenance/Repair Revelant Work Experience:   1+ to 2 Years Company:   PHNS Email:   Apply by Email Entry Systems Analyst PHNS is looking for an Entry Systems Analyst to work on site at our client location in Baton Rouge. Analyzes, evaluates and resolves problems with applications in assigned area of responsibility at night.  Prepares routine and ad hoc reports and screen formats. Tests and troubleshoots purchased software.  Conducts training where appropriate.  Installs, evaluates, and supports new application implementations and upgrade roll-outs.  Responsible for adherence to testing and issue resolution guidelines.  Analyzes methods to optimize usage of hardware resources and effectiveness of procedures.  Reports and tracks information systems issues in assigned area of responsibility.  Essential Functions:q Analyzes, evaluates and resolves problems with applications in assigned area of responsibility.q Tests and troubleshoots purchased software.q Installs, evaluates, and supports new application implementations and upgrade roll-outs in assigned area of responsibility.q Primary participation in the design, selection, and implementation of new systems.q Analyzes methods to optimize usage of hardware resources and effectiveness of procedures.q Reports and tracks information systems issues in assigned area of responsibility.q Provides assistance over telephone, or through direct or written communication to resolve application questions. q Works with software vendors and customers to resolve problems with existing software.q Develops documentation to detail changes to applications and procedures. Other Duties and Responsibilities:q Prepares routine and ad hoc reports and screen formats.q Provides customer training when necessary.  Training must be scheduled through and meet the requirements of customer area supervisor.q Responsible for adherence to testing and issue resolution guidelines.q Performs other duties as assigned to meet departmental or organizational objectives
