Business Development Associate – great entry level opportunities in Sales!

 

We are seeking a full-time Business Development Associate who will be responsible for following-up on mailing campaigns and conferences, developing prospect opportunities, and qualifying and setting up appointments with senior level executives.  The incumbent will also be responsible for making regular, scheduled contact with identified targets to coordinate meetings for sales representatives.



Candidate must be a highly motivated, self-starter with effective problem solving skills.  Successful candidates will be outgoing individuals who enjoy phone contact and who are mature, knowledgeable and sophisticated enough to carry on business conversations with senior level executives.  Candidates must also possess strong organization, presentation and follow-through skills.  BS or BA Degree required. 

 

Essential Job Functions:

 

- Make up to 300 calls per week depending on situation and tasks.

 

- Fulfill prospect requests for services literature or company information.

 

- Communicate corporate messaging in a crisp fashion.

 

- Research and develop knowledge within information services and consulting industries as well as assigned vertical industries.  Develop understanding of company service offering and market trends.

 

- Work independently.

 

- Track all relevant sales activities and produce weekly reports for executive management to review.

 

- Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite and Internet skills.
