Enterprise Reporting Architect
The Enterprise Reporting Architect is the Lead Business Intelligence and Reporting developer for the Knowledge Management team. This position is to develop and implement an Enterprise Reporting environment built upon the Business Object suite of tools. This position serves as the Business Objects Administrator and Business Objects Universe Designer, working closely with the user community to enable self-service access to data and reporting. This role is a senior-level contributor/lead position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and develop Business Objects Universe(s)
Perform all Business Objects administration duties
Provide support for end users developing and executing ad hoc queries that access data in the Knowledge Management environment
Provide report development analysis
Test vendor delivered and installed maintenance and enhancements
Serve as contact to vendor (Business Objects) technical support issues, etc
Develop and maintain reporting standards
Skills and Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years experience with Business Objects and Crystal Reports, including building and administering the “Universe” layer
Experience with Business Objects XI
Excellent communication and consultative skills to work with report consumers in the analysis of reporting needs
Experience installing, configuring and administering Business Objects
Experience creating and documenting policies and procedures
Experience creating and maintaining metadata solutions
Strong business and data analytic skills, and critical thinking skills to assess reporting needs and determine appropriate course of action to meet said needs
Ability to communicate well and create technical and testing documentation
College degree: bachelor’s degree or better in an IT-related discipline
Desired:
Experience with Oracle RDBMS and database tuning techniques for Oracle
Health Care experience
