Electronics Technician - Cellular Telephone Field Test Tech
- Test all new and upgraded products as part of the product approval process. This involves the testing of new hardware, software, applications and accessories of new and upgraded products as they are released. - Responsible for the raising of all issues found during testing and for tracking those issues until resolution. Involvement as required in daily and weekly conference calls with development to discuss all product related issues. Tracking and giving feed back to all engineers who have raised the original issue - Raise Status Reports as required on testing undertaken and planned. - Work with the Development and Integration Teams to drive the resolution of the issues reported. - Liaise with other groups within NA CTS to analyze issues and on the provision of test tools- Apply electronic theory, usually under the direction of engineering staff, to design, build, repair, calibrate, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery.May require an Associates degree or technical school certification. Good MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, Explorer etc.). Ability to work accurately, to be adept in technology. Experience with elements of mobile radio technology. Team oriented, fast learner.Experience testing cellular telephones desirable. Experience Level - 0 - 3 Years Electronics technician/radio MFG or SIC. Final training as electronics technician or communications technician or similar. Experience with control panel construction, construction of mobile radio or similar.
