We have the following opportunity available for a Junior and Senior Security Technician.  The duties consist of: Assisting the In house Engineer in the Design, Build, implementation of Physical Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Biometrics, Smart Cards, Network Video & CCTV systems.  Post Installation the Technician is responsible for integration, troubleshooting, assembling, testing & maintaining Access Control, Credential, Biometrics, Smart Cards, IDS, and Perimeter Protection Systems. 

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

Ideal candidate must have excellent organization skills, time management, communication skills, an ability to build relationships with all levels of the company and its clients.  He/She must be comfortable with the entrepreneurial, fast paced environment.  Technical skills for Junior Technician are three years of electronics school training with a GPA above 3.0 and two years of experience in the field.  Technical skills for Senior Technician are an electrical engineering degree with two years experience in the field.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Performs surveys, attends meetings and proposes solutions to installation   issues Management of installation, technical and sub-contract employees Project scheduling, coordination with trades and financial management  Builds and maintains appropriate customer service relationships Trains technicians and facilitates learning in the field Assists co-workers with installation and routine maintenance of electronic security (access control) and surveillance devices/equipment (CCTV) Removes and rearranges equipment at on-site locations Tests, adjusts and troubleshoots equipment Provides appropriate customer service when responding to a customer request or fulfilling project requirements Handles orders, paperwork and transports materials to work-site

 

MINIMUN REQUIREMENTS:

 

 



 

 

·         High School diploma or GED

·         Electronic Security Technician Certification

·         At least 4 years of Security and Surveillance (Access control, CCTV, etc) installation and field experience; 5+ years preferred

·         At least 2 years of Security and Surveillance Project Management experience

·         Ability to work with security and surveillance installation equipment and other related materials at on-site locations

·         Capable of reading blueprints and associated building information

·         Ability to rapidly understand business objectives and combine them with a deep understanding of project management to create, sell and drive effective solutions

·         Ability to work effectively with co-workers and satisfy customer requests

·         Strategic thinker and problem solver who has demonstrated a track record of delivering projects within time and budget with the right quality for clients

·         Leader who is able to align, direct, motivate and grow teams and clients

·         Communicator who is quickly able to articulate the challenges that need resolution

·         Track record of excellent relationship building and project execution with clients

·         Experience with Video Management, CCTV, Access Control Systems, Perimeter Security Systems, GE Security (Casi-Rusco & Infographics), Software house, RS2 and AMAG-Group 4 preferred

·         Must have reliable transportation
