Education Account Manager

GCA Technology Services is seeking a talented sales professional to join its technical training business in the Tampa. This position will be located at GCA's training facility and corporate headquarters in Tampa, FL.

GCA implements a solution selling approach and through its partnerships with Sun Microsystems, Novell, WebSense, Symantec, Red Hat and Microsoft and is the premier Solaris, Windows, .NET, Linux, Java/J2EE, identity management, and enterprise middleware training company in the region.

GCA is the largest reseller of corporate training for Sun Microsystems and holds exclusive territories across the United States. GCA has held the title of the number one training delivery company for Sun Microsystems for three years and delivers and develops more middleware training than any other vendor.

The primary responsibilities for the position include:
• Prospecting and developing new corporate and government accounts, through both outside and inside sales work.
• Protecting and growing existing corporate and government accounts.
• Managing and cultivating long-term customer relationships.
• Analyzing the needs of individual customers and providing custom solutions for their technology service needs.
• Collaborating with marketing to determine appropriate promotions, customer workshops, and other sales-oriented events.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience in technology and/or service-oriented sales, preferably working with corporate, government, and military customers.
• Experience selling to corporate and government accounts in the Southeast.
• A proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals, and to build relationships with customers.
• The self-confidence, drive, and determination to acquire and develop new accounts.
• The ability to learn the benefits of our new training offerings and there application to the marketplace.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivation and creativity in their approach.
