POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for participating in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications and infrastructures. The SE III ETL is assigned to project teams that utilize various client/server, web, or mainframe platforms. Under the leadership and tactical supervision of a project leader, incumbents collaborate with company customers, staff, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options.

Individuals in this job position are competent to perform work at a high technical level within this job family. They are familiar with project management techniques, and may have project leadership responsibility for small to mid-sized projects.

Incumbents must understand the procedures and expected system performance associated with their role.  They share responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations and capabilities and the ability to act effectively as a team member.

The successful candidate will have experience in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of a  Data Warehouse including business analysis and programming; preparation of detailed specifications from which programs are written, designed, coded, tested, debugged, and documented.

Requirements:Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience

3-5 years of Data Warehousing with at least 2+ years experience with Informatica or another ETL tool

3+ years of relational database experience; including dimensional design and advanced SQL skillsKnowledge of health care claims processing or pharmaceutical data is a plus
