Training Consultant

 

We have an immediate opening for an ERP Training Consultant

 

Create and implement education and end user training programs that demonstrate knowledge of Adult Learning Principles and incorporate best practice delivery techniques assist us in the design, development and delivery of customized role-based blended-learning programs for our clients who are in the process of implementing Oracle.  Plan, design, develop, organize, write and edit instructor-led training content as well as storyboards for electronic learning modules (WBT, CBT elearning).

 

Responsibilities:

This position is located in Dayton, Ohio

· Assist in the development of a comprehensive training plan – End User Support Documentation and delivery

 

· Assess the skills and knowledge gaps for user training, conduct audience analysis

 

· Develop a role based training curriculum, including job task analysis

 

· Develop assessment of  training infrastructure, including facilities, and the development of the training database

 

· Develop training materials (concepts, instructor guides, and exercises).

 

· Develop support materials (work instructions, procedures, quick reference guides, screen cams).

 

· Develop plan for a post-implementation program consisting of the further introduction of best practice into each site, on going user training and the further development of training and documentation

 



Requirements:

· Bachelors Degree in education, learning and development or combination of education and professional work experience related field

· Six to eight years experience developing technical end user training plans and end user documentation

· Three to five years experience with major  ERP end user training (minimum two years with various modules of Oracle)

· Has strong knowledge of electronic training and performance support options and can provide guidance

· Has developed materials from analysis phase through client acceptance.

· Has excellent presentation, oral, and written communication skills.

· Knowledgeable in electronic learning modules (WBT, VTC, CBT elearning)

· Working knowledge of Organizational Change Management

· Expert knowledge of Microsoft suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

· Knowledge of instructional design theory and Adult Learning Principles

· Professional Services/Big 4 consulting experience (preferred)

· Class room training experience (desired)
