Email Content Developer
Our client, headquartered in Renton, WA has an immediate need for an email content developer. Qualified candidates (see below) should apply today by sending us a word version of your resume. Six month contract.
The Opportunity: Design, develop and unit test email newsletters using HTML and custom tools based upon requirements from Product Management. Work in a team environment alongside software engineers, web designers and product managers. Tackle prioritized tasks and work on a deadline-driven schedule. Write technical documents that can be understood by other software engineers and architects. Participate in code reviews. Ensure system quality by developing well-researched and successful solutions to issues raised by QA staff. Debug and resolve code and email specific problems.
The Job Requirements:1+ years experience of hand-coding W3C standards compliant HTML/CSS. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task on several projects at once. Ability to demonstrate careful attention to details. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in the use of revision control systems such as CVS in multi-developer projects. Experience with SQL a plus. Experience with JSP a plus. Experience with graphic design software, such as Adobe Photoshop, a plus. Preference for work with commercial web applications/consumer sites.
