Director of Solutions Delivery - Tibco EAI National Practice

The Director of Solutions Delivery is a senior position leading our largest, most strategic engagements while also serving as a key participant in the business leadership of the business unit. The candidate will have overall responsibility for the strategic leadership of client engagements from a delivery perspective. Additionally, working closely with the Business Development Sales Team, they are responsible for ongoing client development and relationship management activities. The Tibco EAI team is a National practice so all interested applicants can live anywhere they choose to live but they must be willing to travel on a weekly basis 100% of the time.  Perficient does cover all travel related expenses including weekly airfare, weekly hotel, meals, rental car, cell phone, etc. This is a full time position with Perficient.  No contractors please!  Responsibilities: Serve as the senior delivery resource for consulting engagements, specifics may include: â€¢  Manage the technical, business and personnel aspects of consulting engagements •  Manage the invoicing, backlog and resource management activities for the assigned consulting engagements •  Support multiple engagements on a part-time basis as the overall engagement manager working with the assigned project managers to ensure successful delivery •  Serve as the day-to-day project manager for one of our larger, more strategic clients /engagements •  Lead strategic engagements while also serving as the lead consultant/strategist •  Cultivate highly functioning teams comprised of Perficient and client resources; the ability to effectively manage the engagement while recognizing and leveraging the expertise of the different resources and the importance of their contributions is critical •  Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality to promote client satisfaction •  Produce key project management deliverables such as project charters, project plans, resource plans, risk mitigation plans, change management plans, etc. •  Serve as a key member of the solution delivery team by facilitating requirements/design sessions, and producing deliverables •  Mentor and provide solutions delivery expertise to less experienced team members •  Monitor engagement team performance and provide feedback •  Develop strong client relationships•  Team with the business developer to collaboratively drive ongoing client development activities •  Participate on client engagement steering committees as necessary to set client expectations and issue and resolution management •  Key participant in the business development process•  Lead the business development efforts from a delivery perspective •  Develop overall estimates of the effort / resource requirements / schedule •  Analysis of pricing / approach options advising the GM on the related business considerations and impact of different options •  Lead the risk assessment efforts during the proposal process and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies   Potential Additional Responsibilities: Resource Management•  Ensure sold client engagements are staffed with appropriately skilled resources •  Develop hiring plans and manage the recruiting process •  Coordinate new hire on-boarding and colleague terminations •  Manage resource assignments to projects •  Monitor utilization and develop plans to maintain acceptable levels •  Ensure colleague reviews are completed on a timely basis •  Monitor and ensure colleague satisfaction with Perficient Business Management•  Maintain accurate backlog for sold client engagements. •  Manage key metrics to ensure they are in alignment with defined targets: i.e. Revenue, Cost of Delivery, Utilization, ABR and DSO. •  Key participant in DRBs to ensure quality proposals and to validate the business commitments and financial terms of the proposal •  Monitor and ensure client satisfaction  Qualifications:•  At least 10 years of experience delivering comprehensive technology-based solutions •  Bachelors degree (advanced degree preferred) •  Large project experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware, TIBCO, Microsoft MOSS, Business Objects XI or Cognos•  Strong understanding of the professional services industry, including technical services, systems integration, and strategic business solutions •  Experience delivering full lifecycle solution development engagements for enterprise initiatives with gross fees in excess of $1M •  Strong client relationship management skills •  Comfortable facilitating interactions and discussions with “Câ€� level executives •  Experience managing the proposal process and pursuit teams in a consultative, solution based sales model •  Ability to present proposal solutions to all levels of client management •  Ability to articulate complex issues, thought leadership, and the business value of solutions •  Proven risk management, issue resolution and change control experience •  Proven management, leadership and mentoring skills Perficient offers a very competitive base salary, bonuses, a full benefits package including medical, dental and vision, a 401(k) with matching contributions, an employee stock purchase plan, 3 weeks Paid Time Off, 1 week sick time, 10 paid holidays a year and much more!  Interested applicants should email their resumes to stacy.baros@perficient.com     Job Information Job Title: Director of Solutions Delivery - Tibco EAI National Practice Location: Houston, TX 77098 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: IT/Software Development Relevant Work Experience: 7+ to 10 Years Career Level: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Contact Information Company: Perficient Email:
