Director of Professional Services

Dynamic and fast paced technology services company seeks a talented Director of Professional Services to lead and expand service delivery and support to its clients. Amtech is the industry leader in providing comprehensive software solutions to the North American packaging industry (Corrugated Box and Folding Carton). Amtech has installed its Imaginera software suite in over 700 manufacturing facilities with 30,000 users. Amtech is a privately owned business celebrating its 27th anniversary and is based in Ft. Washington, PA. 

The Director of Professional Services will report to the CEO, and is responsible for providing vision, strategy, planning and management for the delivery and support of its Imaginera suite of software. He or she leads a team of 20+ professionals, project managers and trainers to provide outstanding deployment of Imaginera solutions.

Success in this position is measured by overall customer satisfaction and organizational effectiveness as it relates to utilization management & project profitability.

Essential Functions:

· Provides leadership for enhancing client satisfaction and utilization within the delivery organization.

· Consistently sells, negotiates and closes new and upgrade services within existing client base. Develops and maintains an effective business and account management sales plan for accounts.

· Facilitates development of strategic alliances with interface technology partners CAD; Scheduling; EDI; Enterprise; Financial software)

· Plans and manages the staff development of project managers and trainers.

· Establishes performance standards and service levels for customer support. Continuously evaluates processes for improvement and increased effectiveness.

Required Skills:

· 8-10 years of consulting management experience including P&L management experience and successful experience delivering multiple implementations on time and on budget

· Prior experience in systems integration consulting or software/ hardware vendor services, and strong technical acumen (enterprise, distributed, client server, and hosted technologies)

· Experience in Manufacturing Software (corrugated/folding or paper industries a plus)

· Excellent negotiation, conflict management, problem solving and decision making skills

· Demonstrated ability to effectively recruit, develop and manage a professional services staff

· Willingness to travel 20% (some international)

· Effective oral, presentation, and written communication skills

· Education: B. A./B. S. or equivalent work experience
