Director of Global Brand Strategy and Marketing Communications Job Responsibilities: Responsible for creating corporate brand awareness, key positioning and related messaging for VeriSign and its product/service/solution offerings in targeted markets. Responsible for strategy and execution of corporate brand, product,  co-brand (alliances/customers), and sub-brand advertising via broadcast, print, online, outdoor and mobile media. Oversee strategic planning, development and coordination of all marketing communications programs to promote the sale of company products and further the company’s sales objectives. Responsible for all aspects (programs, execution, reporting) of closed-loop direct marketing activities in support of Sales pipeline Responsible for overseeing Corporate Event team which includes major industry/tradeshow events, Executive Briefing Center and sponsorship activities. Manage integrated customer reference program that supports both Sales and Marketing activities with quality references Manages primary advertising agency relationship and interacts with internal and external vendors to produce go-to-market deliverables. Responsible for all aspects of centralized brand management process and tools Consults with other areas of management, Web marketing, international marketing, market operations and/or integrated campaign management. Required Skills: Minimum of 15 years related experience, including 6-8 years in progressively more senior managerial roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent additional experience required, postgraduate studies preferred. Experience managing marketing teams including hiring, managing performance and developing skill set of direct reports Ability to manage in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities Ability to inspire and motivate others Demonstrated track record in marketing execution and product success Excellent verbal, written, visual communication skills. Good organizational skills and ability to manage stakeholders Experience working with cross-functional and global teams Ability to be flexible in a highly dynamic business. Experience with technology marketing and marketing to range of company types Willingness to travel
