Director of Business Development - Northeast Region

In this strategic role you will:
Create a sales plan and account map in given territory
Build a sales pipeline for IT outsourcing services
Identify new sales opportunities and lead all new business proposals with clients
Forge strong relationships with clients and engage in winning proposal opportunities
Negotiate at the most senior client level on both technical and business issues
Manage all internal efforts leading towards a win
Position proposals to win and articulate CGI value propositions
Meet identified sales quotas
Experience, skills and requirements:
Relevant university degree
Over 10 years of IT infrastructure sales experience with over 5 years dealing with multi-million dollar outsourcing deals, preferably in a consulting environment
Extensive sales experience in North America (international experience would be a strong asset)
Deep expertise in infrastructure delivery concepts, sourcing models, and technologies
Strong financial acumen and creative deal structuring
Experience working with senior management and leading deal teams in a matrix organization
Fluency in English and strong communications and interpersonal skills
Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Extensive travel within given territory
Broad industry experience working in one or many of the following industries: Automotive, Manufacturing, Energy, Financial Services, Insurance.
