Major consulting firm seeks Director- Sales Force Effectiveness in the NJ/PA area

 

General Responsibilities:  Lead the growth of lines of business through active business development activities, focusing on expanding the depth of business with existing customers and expanding business to new customers. Develop robust solutions / offerings that meet the needs of pharmaceutical clients of varying size and therapeutic scope across the portfolio of products enabled solutions.Work with current and prospective client companies to define project scope & needs, direct projects and act as an account liaison to maintain ongoing high-quality client communications and relations in conjunction with client /project teams.Develop strong customer relationships and relentlessly focus on meeting their evolving needs. Constantly seek to understand their most critical issues and develop creative approaches to providing them market insights into these issues.Manage, recruit, develop, & retain an exceptionally talented team. Foster seamless internal communication and strong collaboration with internal teams across different locations and present a unified, highly customer-focused face to the client. Contribute in developing business strategies and align / drive groups' and individual goals and objectives to organizational goals.Be supportive of peers and lend expertise to the development and expansion of products in the core product offering. Provide thought leadership and innovation. Maintain and disseminate knowledge of the pharmaceutical and sales & marketing informatics industries Strengthen and build company's intellectual property position by monitoring the market for competitors as they relate to organization's current and future products and services.

Requirements:Ability to drive the strategy, business leadership, vision and life cycle management for different sales analytics services.Ability to lead, influence and motivate a team towards objectives. Possess a consultative approach with regard to identifying client issues and managing and delivering the solutions.Ability to exercise strong business judgment to effectively resolve conflict

Experience & Education:Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing and project/client management in the business consulting industry or as a service provider is strongly preferred.Strong relationship building experience coupled with project delivery experience in the pharmaceutical space.BS/MS/ PhD/MBA in Operations Research / Systems or Industrial Engineering, Applied Statistics or Mathematics, Econometrics from a reputed university.

Salary: commensurate with experience
