CT & NM Manufacturing Quality Management Your Responsibilities: Position Summary:Responsible for Manufacturing Product Quality for CT and Nuclear Medicine. Develops metrics and drives improvement. Ensures FDA compliance in Manufacturing. Leads the Business Excellence Function and through this role is responsible for Process Improvement.Scope:Manufacturing Quality and Business Excellence.Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the Manufacturing Quality team. Develop Manufacturing and Installation Quality metrics and facilitate appropriate actions to improve performance. Works closely with IS Operations Q&R, BU Q&R, Supplier Quality and Customer Support teams to drive excellence in Product Quality and Compliance. Liaise between the quality functions, and the field, to ensure cross functional resolution of quality issues effecting customers. Improve in-house quality through implementation of Best Practices and utilization of a Six-Sigma approach to quality optimization. Harmonize with IS Operations groups to ensure that we follow a common systemic approach toward quality initiatives. Obtain feedback on installation issues and coordinate resolution. Work to continuously improve the quality of installations. Ensure highest levels of quality in manufacturing of new products. Works closely with the Manufacturing Engineering organizations to remedy production quality issues and implement permanent solutions for those problems. Run the Business Excellence program for Manufacturing including ownership of Business Balanced Scorecard, Hoshin planning, Process Management and Improvement, Green Belt Black Belt program. Your Profile: Education/Skills and Experience Requirements: Must have 10 yrs experience in Quality with thorough knowledge of regulatory standards and systems. Bachelor's degree in a technical field Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to present quality presentations. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a highly technical environment. Conceptual thinker with excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate ideas across the various functions within the CT and NM BUs. Knowledge of Business Excellence field. Six sigma Black Belt preferred, Green belt minimum.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Typical office environment and normal working hours with the exception of additional time required during critical periods.Occasional (10-15%) domestic and/or international travel is required.
