Director, Information Systems
TBI is seeking a Director, Information Systems to manage MIS Department in accordance with organizational policies and goals to maximize efficiencies of operations within fiscal constraints. Responsible to develop, implement, and maintain short and long range plans for information systems to meet organizational needs.

Specific duties include:
·                    Improves business processes and support critical business strategies by managing development, selection, implementation, and maintenance of information and telecommunication systems and computer related services.
·                    Plans, implements and maintains short and long range plans for IT systems to keep computer hardware and software updated to meet organizational needs.
·                    Ensures proper functioning of information processing system and makes upgrades as necessary.
·                    Manages MIS department staff to ensure program goals achieved.
·                    Leads multiple projects and oversees developers to ensure specifications met.
·                    Responsible for budget/financial/administrative issues involving computer hardware, software, telecommunications assets, supplies and services.
·                    Helps programs/departments utilize info systems to improve efficiencies.

Applicants should have a Bachelors in information systems or equivalent education/experience; experience maintaining IT systems and developing reports, with a minimum of 5 years experience in a related field including project management and supervision of staff preferred. Position requires food interpersonal communication, organizational and writing skills; strong supervisory skills; the ability to provide leadership and a sense of mission and urgency to staff; ability to keep accurate records, recognize trends, and analyze statistics; ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; demonstrated ability to organize multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and initiate corrective action to resolve problems encountered and lead projects to completion with limited supervision. Should be a team player with hand-on work style and proven ability to work with key groups and incorporate necessary processes into info systems; positive and flexible attitude, encouraging input to ensure systems reach their full potential.
