Director, Community Health Center Programs (Grade 20)

Under the direction of the senior director of network management, responsible for establishing and maintaining partnerships with community health centers to support and expand Network Health's strategic, clinical and operational initiatives. Direct and implement programs that will enhance Network Health's presence at community health centers to achieve high quality care for Network Health members and support membership growth. This candidate will also engage and collaborate with community health center partners to help the plan maintain a strong presence in the communities Network Health services. Requirements

Develop, foster and maintain strong relationships with community health centers to promote Network Health's presence in the community.Develop and implement initiatives with community health centers to support Network Health's strategic, clinical and operational goals, including but not limited to Pay-for-Performance, Medical Home, e- business; HEDIS.Collaborate with agencies and partnerships that work with community health centers to promote Network Health's goals and initiatives and increase Network Health's presence in the community.Coordinate with provider relations to ensure that provider issues are being addressed and resolved in a timely manner.Coordinate with marketing to create tools that will support awareness and programs in community health centers.Engage medical management and quality staff from Network Health and the community health centers to promote high quality care for Network Health members.Promote awareness and establish activities that support Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS).Work with Community Health Centers to ensure compliance with MassHealth and Commonwealth Care contracts.Regularly advises the Executive Director and other members of senior management on needed management action to achieve desired CHC goals.Develop, foster and maintain a strong relationship with the Mass League of Community Health Centers to promote Network Health's commitment to CHC's. Work with the Mass League as needed to achieve Network Health's community health center goals. Additional duties

Serve as a member of the leadership team with directors across the organization.Represent Network Health at applicable external activities, events, meetings, organizations, conventions, etc.Support the activities of all health plan departments, as well as other staff organizations when applicable.Maintain professional growth and development through self-directed learning activities and involvement in professional, civic, and community organizations.Maintain knowledge and expertise in areas of responsibility, leadership, and general healthcare legislation.Participate on cross-functional teams where skills and knowledge will be leveraged to better serve the community.Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 5 to 7 years equivalent experience required, Master's preferredMinimum of 7-10 years of community health center and/or community relations experience required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to relate to people at various levels of management as well as within ethnically and culturally diverse communities. Project management and organizational skills Bi-lingual a plus (especially Spanish). How to apply
