Desktop Technician - Mac/Apple

SUMMARY: As part of the Consulting Group in the Global Infrastructure and Consulting Services The role of the MAC Desktop Technician is to provide superb customer service and extensive MAC support for end users. Candidates will be expected to be well versed in multiple MAC operating systems (MAC/OS I/OS) as well as minimal PC support and have recently been exposed to MAC in a prior role.

MAC Desktop / Helpdesk Responsibilities:
- Provide desktop iPhone and iPad remote support for MAC OS X and I/OS
- Make sure that current client infrastructure support the integration of MAC system and applications
- Solve common MAC issues such as keychain & network connectivity problems
- Work on-site with users to Solve Hardware Issues
- Maintain up-to-date standard images for MAC
- Perform patch and compatibility testing

The ideal candidate will have:

- 3+ years of corporate MAC experience
- A + Certification
- Strong understanding of MAC / Apple hardware a MUST
- Knowledge of iPhone and iPad an asset
- Must be self-motivated, capable of managing time efficiently without close supervision
- Some Windows and UNIX Server experience needed
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Fundamental network experience including DHCP and DNS preferred
- Good working knowledge of Active Directory and systems security
