Full Time, Temporary/Contract/Project Job Category: IT/Software Development Desktop/Server/Network Tech. Job Description:Our client is looking to add one (1) additional support professional to Albany NY, Bloomington IL, and Portland OR. Each site has roughly 40 end users. The skill set listed is a desktop/server/network tech, kind of a jack of all trades for support. They will be point of contact for each of the offices around their home base office as well as the surrounding area of the three cities listed above. 80% Travel required. Skill Set: 5-7 yrs hybrid support in IT environment Experience supporting Windows XP/Vista, Office, and Outlook Server Experience with basic admin duties in Windows 2000/2003 (adding, deleting users, resets of hw and passwords) Network Experience with basic support Cisco routers, 2500 series or so (will be “smart hands” to team in Houston for higher end issues) Previous field tech experience not required but preferred since this will encompass all travel to the surrounding areas Reliable transportation is required and mileage will be reimbursed. These support trips should only be day trips to locations, when not traveling they will be based out of offices listed above Personality is key as this person would be the point person for all IT. Need to have strong customer service, great communication, and written skills for documentation.
