Desktop Analyst



The Art Institute of Phoenix, a leading institution for creative and technical arts educations seeks a Desktop Analyst to provide support and maintenance for computer equipment across the campus.  Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.  Duties will include performing equipment maintenance activities in a timely and efficient manner, troubleshooting and maintaining all equipment in assigned areas, assisting with maintenance of the use of appropriate software programs in widespread usage by students at the school, maintaining updated inventory records on all equipment and responding to student and employees qustions in a timely manner.

 

Associates degree in Computer Science or related technology field, Bachelors degree preferred.  Formal training and solid experience with Mac and PC hardware, software and affiliated technology issues preferably in a post-secondary institution; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with both faculty and student populations; Superior orgnaization, prioritization, self-motivation and problem resolution skills; Ability to work without close supervision and to set ones own priorities; Ability to lift 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
