Database Technician -- LARGEST CATHOLIC HEALTH SYSTEM IN DELAWARE VALLEY!! Mercy Health Systems Support Services (Corporate Office) has an exciting new opportunity available in our expanding Physician Services Office for a Database Technician. The Database Technician is responsible for the maintenance and modifications of all databases utilized in the revenue cycle of MHS Physician Services CBO as directed by Database Administrator. Applications include, but are not limited to, NextGen EPM & EMR, Symed, Excel & Access. These Applications are utilized to support practice locations in capturing revenue at the point of care, claim & payment processing, AR management, financial and management reporting purposes. The Physician Services Database Technician will provide support of files and libraries contained in databases to CBO and practice location personnel as directed by the DB Administrator. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge in both healthcare billing and health care information systems, preferably NextGen Enterprise Practice Management and / or NextGen Electronic Medical Records. Required Education, Training and Experience include: Technical Certificate in Computer Science or related field; proven experience with Microsoft Access; at least three years working in a Windows PC environment with proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
