Data Warehouse/BI Business Analyst

Business Analyst
This person must have at least five years of business analysis in data warehouse /business intelligence oriented work. The top candidate would have experience in supporting marketing type applications with data collection and analysis for business decision support. For example defining requirements for business analysis in such areas as marketing analysis, customer analysis, and campaign management. Could also have served as a data architect and report/dashboard developer as a foundation for this. Must be familiar with the life cycle of data warehouse projects. Should know what key performance indicators (KPI’s) are and how to get them from the business sponsors. Define typical KPI’s for marketing programs and customer retention programs and have experience defining requirements for data analysis, data reporting, executive dashboards and information management for business intelligence.

 

Position requires technology experience with large (5 terabyte plus) data warehouses, Teradata, DB2/UDB, Oracle data warehouse, SAP data warehouse, Informatica, and Business Objects. May have used other technologies for reporting, report portals and data loading.
