Technical: Communicate technical architecture direction and coordinate technical proof of concept analyses. Technical: Assist in solving technical and performance problems within the technical infrastructure. Methodology: Develop the required work products for the Technology, Application, and Data domains of change. Management: Lead a team of 3-5 resources (CSC, client, and third-party resources), in your area of expertise, to successful conclusion of a project phase. Business: Participate in providing gap analysis, from a technical perspective, highlighting current state, future state, client needs, best practices, and competition. Relationship Management: Establish credibility at all levels within the client and build problem-solving partnerships with the client and colleagues. Leverage: Understand the sales process, its information and support requirements, and assist business developers in identifying or qualifying leads. Preferred Experience: Must have Siperian experience - Experience with at least one of Oracle and SQL Server, and at least one more database (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Sybase)Experience with both logical and physical data modeling and related tools such as ERWinExperience in both transactional and analytical data environmentKnowledge and experience with database design and optimizationReporting tool and query-based reporting skills Experience in the design of data load strategies and processesExpertise in the preparation of the architecture and design of data integration strategies and the implementation of data storesKnowledge of data warehousing and ETL techniquesGood understanding of distilling data requirements from business requirementsAble to work with application/technical architect towards creating overall solution architectureExcellent understanding of database concepts such as views, stored procedures, constraints, referential integrityExcellent knowledge of SQL and performance tuning of queriesKnowledge and experience with creating test data (with or without automated tool)Some understanding of distributed database conceptsRudimentary knowledge of database administration (e.g. should be able to perform as development dba)Experience with supporting development and test teams on data/database issues Must be open to frequent travel!
