Data Architect
Excellent Opportunity for an experienced Data Architect! The Data Architect, working with the Business Data Owner and Data Stewards, will define and manage the data model required to support the business strategy. This includes production systems and Business Intelligence Programs, e.g. Dashboards, Reports, etc. The Data Architect will be a focal point for understanding data from the corporate perspective and representing the data so it can be understood uniformly throughout the company. This role will support multiple projects in understanding and improving existing data sets and defining new data sets and data models as required by transformation, and for managing the distribution, replication, and archiving of data throughout the enterpriseDesign future data models, to support the business requirements around quality, security, auditability, accessibility and availability. Work across IT to implement the business's defined data quality process, balancing competing goals. Supports Development teams (internal and 3rd Party Software Vendors) by reviewing their data model designs for adherence to data strategic direction, integration and integrity compliance, and data administration standards. Document existing data models utilized by systems owned by the business. Act as a resource / coach for data stewards. Assist the Data Stewards in establishing ongoing data quality auditing procedures. Assist with the setup, documentation and maintenance of a process to ensure data governance throughout the business and IT organizations, including data stewardship.
