Data Analyst/Report Designer

Savela Solutions is seeking a talented Data Analyst/Report Designer for our Mobile, Al client.  The individual will be the in-house authority on both commercial off-the-shelf report applications and custom-developed proprietary reporting systems.



The responsibilities and duties of this position include but are not limited to:Design of the overall reporting infrastructureMonitoring report performance to ensure speed optimizationDeveloping and devising database views and report cubesFulfilling end-user requirements through clearly defined report specificationsTesting reports to ensure quality assuranceAssisting with debugging reports and the resolution of programming errorsWorking with in-house departments in the design and development of reports Ability to translate data structures/models into significant and accurate reports

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:BA/BS in Computer Information Technology, MIS, or related degree/discipline3+ yrs experience with Crystal ReportsProficient  data visualization and analysis talentEffective written and oral communication skillCapacity to work in a detail-oriented, team environment


Desired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Oracle DBA Oracle-specific SQL constructsPowerBuilderWeb-based reporting tools/frameworks
