SUMMARY:
The Director of Business Development is a “hands on” senior management role accountable for planning, coordinating, and driving sales, developing and executing partnership strategies, and business development activities for PredictWallstreet to ensure that performance and revenue goals are being achieved. The director reports directly to the CEO, and is a main point of contact for partners and third-party relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Participate in strategy, identification, and design of the overall business development plan for PredictWallStreet.Generate new business and quality account revenue for PredictWallstreet products in targeted markets, and manage business development activities including: initiating contact with potential new clients, defining the scope of the relationship, identifying profitable deal points, conducting sales meetings, scoping, writing and closing contracts, as well as managing the implementation within the organization and closing new business.Work seamlessly with internal development team to deliver content and technology to partners and third-party relationships in order to implement the company’s business and partner strategy. Identify, prioritize, and forge relationships with partners and other third-parties, and manage ongoing alliances. Manage a full portfolio of customer and partner programs, ongoing communications, and reporting.Perform and coordinate assessments and valuation activities including: technology, business due diligence, intellectual property review and deal structure analysis.Assist in ongoing strategic planning efforts with a focus on business and financial modeling.
QUALIFICATIONS:5+ years Internet business development and selling experience within F2000 client base closing deals of $500K-$1M+. Demonstrated ability to manage and grow major account relationships. Proven experience building and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities.BA required (or equivalent experience), and MBA preferred.Deep understanding of the Internet, interactive platforms, and the associated business models. Strong business and financial acumen; superior analytical and financial modeling skills.Successful background in project management from vision to execution with measurable results.Superior communication skills with the ability to interact cross-functionally at all organizational levels and externally with business associates and clients. Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills with the ability to execute against multiple, high-priority projects with a keen attention to detail. Experience working with multi-functional teams to develop proposals is highly desirable.The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial bend and strong drive for results. Ability to effectively operate as a self-starter with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, results-oriented work environment.Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, presentation software) required.Desired experience includes: selling solutions and building solid relationships with Financial Media, Online Brokers, or Money Management firms at the executive level.Must be available and willing to maintain attendance, to travel as required and to work such hours (including outside normal business hours, when required), as PredictWallStreet determines appropriate to meet its business needs.
