Group is looking for motivated Curriculum Developers to work in a fast paced and evolving security industry. Curriculum Developers are an integral part of the program in support of our client. Members collaborate with client, internal team members, equipment manufacturers and other agencies. The Curriculum Developer performs tasks involved in all phases of the traditional training development model including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The incumbent will rely on expertise from instructional system designers and subject matter experts. The incumbent will also apply technical writing skills, and effective use of adult learning strategies, in order to meet the needs of various training Task Orders on the program.

The primary duties are: Creating, maintaining and enhancing curriculum and testing materials for the Annual Officer Recertification Program. Develop training products using adult learning theories. Work directly with subject matter experts, other instructional designers, and media developers. Communicate with external customers on training concepts through demonstrations and curriculum reviews. Utilize quality control checks to ensure training products are technically accurate and conform to customer and program standards and guidelines. Evaluate training products and recommend revisions based on sound instructional principles and learning theory. Applicant selected will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet and maintain suitability to work government contract requirements. Standard Job Description Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments. May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.

Security Clearance Other Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
