POSITION SUMMARY: The primary responsibilities of the Corporate Travel Coordinator will be to arrange and research the most cost effective and efficient travel solutions to domestic and international destinations for DDN employees around the world. This position will also provide Executive Administrative support as necessary.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Book all aspects of corporate travel including: air, hotel, and car using various travel sites
· Produce airline tickets, itineraries
· Manage travel approval process with appropriate managers
· Research, track and identify cost savings in travel budget
· Communicate and enforce the Corporate travel policy
· Work with Accounts Payable regarding ticket transactions and travel expenditures
· Organization and administration of general office files/records
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
· Three or more years agency or Corporate Travel experience
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Experience with complex international routing and fares
Skills:
· Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
· Excellent customer service skills
· Unlimited enthusiasm and professionalism
· Expert PC skills including Microsoft Office, Internet, E-Mail, travel agency on-line booking technologies
· Excellent time management skills in order to be able to respond quickly to travel requests and/or concerns regarding existing travel plans
· Highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
