Perform controller duties and to include safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic. Ensure compliance with FAA and USAF rules and regulations. Provide technical assistance and advise Sr. management on ATC and airfield matters. Assist with other duties as assigned during unmanned tower hours, including handling classified mail and documents.Basic Qualifications Flexible schedule to be utilized for permanently assigned CTO's for vacation and or emergency leave. VFR control tower experience. Familiar with FAA Handbook 7110.65 Air Traffic Control and USAF AFIs. Ability to control aircraft in accordance with FAA 7110.65. Ability to work independently. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Bachelor's degree in an aeronautical discipline or equivalent experience. Six years experience as a control tower operator, senior controller experience desirable. Possess Federal Aviation Administration control tower operator certificate. Must be able to pass FAA Class II Physical. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance, which includes U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Naturalization. Valid U.S. driver's license and U.S. passport required.
