Contracts Administrator
Full-time Contracts Administrator needed for NMR Consulting on a long-term contract with the USDA Food & Nutrition Service in Alexandria, Virginia. Duties may include but are not limited to:
Administrative closeout of expired contracts as assigned by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
Indirect Rates. Obtain indirect rates, when required.
Final Cost Recommendations. Identify inactive contracts that require Final Cost Audit by the Cognizant Audit Agency. Perform financial analysis and make final cost recommendations on those files that do not need final cost audits by the Cognizant Audit Agency. Financial analysis includes analyzing costs for reasonableness, allowability, and to reconcile balances with the contractor and finance office. Make the final cost recommendations for close out to the FNS Contracting Officer.
Quick close out procedures in accordance with Federal Aquisition Regulation 42.708 shall be used, when applicable.
Retirement of contracts. Provide all closed out files to the contracting officer for boxing and shipping to the Records Center. Files must be maked CLOSED and dated on the outside of each contract file.
Reporting. Monthly status report to the COR that summarizes performance on assigned contracts. The report shall capture the number of contracts assigned, the number of contracts closed out and turned over to the Contracting Officer for retirement, the actions taken on each assigned contract for the month, and obstacles, when required number of actions cannot be accomplished.
Place of Performance. The contractor's personnel will work on site at 3101 Park Center Drive, Contract Management Branch, Room 228, Alexandria, VA 22302. All work space, office furniture and equipment, supplies, communications, reproduction, ect. will be provided by FNS.
