Computer Tape and Print Operator - Anaheim, CA - IMMEDIATE OPENING AVAILABLE Tape Operations experience a must, with knowledge of print. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Veritas Netbackup and SecureSync a plus. Operates computer hardware system peripheral equipment, such as tape drives, tape silos (ATL) and printers. Reads instructions and schedule, receives instructions from supervisor verbally, to determine work for shift. Mounts cartridges of magnetic tape in tape drives and tape silos, manipulates switches, enters commands into computer, using computer terminal, and performs other tasks, to start and operate peripheral machines. Observes machine operations and error lights on machines to detect malfunction. Removes faulty materials and notifies supervisor of error or machine stoppage. Unloads and labels magnetic tape and enters information into tape management system. Good communication skills, Team Player.
