Position:  Company IT / Project Manager

 

The company is seeking a computer hardware, software and network knowledgeable individual as the Company IT / Project Manager for integrated access control, digital video and intercom systems installed and serviced by the company.  The individual must be self motivated and organized.  The job is based in the corporate office in Austin, TX with territorial responsibility and periodic travel required to the other two company offices in San Antonio and South Texas (Harlingen) Area.

 

Job Responsibilities 

 

IT Responsibilities

 

Managing and performing the system programming requirements for all the company jobs and service in the three offices: Austin, San Antonio and South Texas.  This includes start ups, customer interaction and training. 

 

Additionally the job requires coordination, scheduling and performance of system service requests.  

 

Factory training on the various systems serviced will be provided. 

 

Project Management Responsibilities

 

Review the job scope of work with the sales department.  Scheduling and coordination of the technicians on the jobs with the Company Manager.

 

Coordinate the equipment procurement with the Parts Manager.

 

Monitor the job progress as compared to the scope of work.

 

Direct interface with the customer on the jobs with a good set of customer skills.  Success is measured by organization, productivity and self motivation.
