Overview:

 

The ChoicePoint Corporate Technology group is currently looking for a Communications Consultant to provide consultation and services on all systems relating to data communication (internal/external).  Design, develop and support communication programs, protocols (FTP, SSH-FTP, HTTPS, SSL-FTP), programming languages (C, C++, JAVA,  UNIX scripting) and web service applications.  Analyze and revise existing system logic to maintain  system flow.  Provide business analyst services to  the business units where applicable. Provide operational support during off hours.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


-Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
-3-5yrs working knowledge of various wire protocols. (HTTP, SOAP,XML-RPC)
-5-7 yrs. working knowledge of file transfer protocols. (FTP, SSH-FTP, SSL-FTP, Connect Direct and Connect Enterprise Suite)
-5-7 yrs. working knowledge of programming languages (JAVA, C, C++) and operating systems (UNIX)

-5-7yrs. experience troubleshooting web based protocol issues, communication and network related issues.
