Communication Product Specialist III

Job Code: RFCD08081018  Description: A Communications Product Specialist is responsible for technical support on International Secure Personal Radios. Reporting to the Product Manager, the Product Specialist position requires detailed knowledge of digital radio communications to adequately perform in this job function. The Product Specialist acts as a key point of contact for internal and external customers and must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to: Product testing Technical support for day-to-day issues Preparation of written application notes to facilitate proper fielding and use of equipment  Qualifications: Two year technical degree or equivalent work experience 8+ years experience Experience with military communications Ability and willingness to travel in support of trade shows and important field trials Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance is required Additional Preferred Skills: Detailed Harris product knowledge Experience with configuring and troubleshooting IP-based networks Direct customer experience  This position requires U.S. citizenship for purposes of obtaining a clearance.     Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
