Job Description:
We are currently seeking Full Time / Permanent Sr. Cognos BI & DW professionals to join practice groups in our Atlanta, Georgia regional office.

A Sr. Cognos BI & DW Consultant is typically responsible for evaluating and analyzing customer needs and requirements, design, architect, develop integrated data warehouse, data models, reports, scorecards, dashboards and integrated solutions to deliver on our client's strategic and operation BI& DW initiatives. In addition the Sr. BI Consultant will provide both technical and functional Cognos product support and guidance to ensure successful implementation.

This position requires an in-depth understanding of BI & DW solutions and supporting strategies, concepts and methods and tools complemented with a proven track record in delivering integrated solutions to customers seeking state-of-the art BI & DW solutions. He/she must posses the ability to rapidly gain the trust and confidence of clients, partners, peers and staff, for the business, technology and advisory skills they posses and their ability to manage complex, challenging situations and environments, all consistent with the consulting industry standards.

Job Requirements:

3+ years experience working with Cognos and a minimum of 5 years BI & DW industry experience overall.
Must have experience with Cognos ReportNet, Framework Manager, Cognos PowerPlay, Cognos Web Services in an enterprise multiple server environment and other Cognos tools. (Cognos SDK is a plus)
Experience with Cognos Power Cube creation/modification.
Experience with installing, configuration, securing and deploying Cognos BI applications.
Experience with integrating external applications into Cognos/ReportNet.
Major Consulting firm experience is highly desired.
BS degree
Ability to travel at least 75%
Direct experience selling Cognos (or similar) software for a software vendor or reseller.
Understanding of BI, ETL and data management tools.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent written and oral skills are required.
