We are Manhattan’s Physician Group, a dynamic, rapidly growing association of physicians having nine multi-specialty private physician practice sites in Manhattan. We are ramping up our Technical Support Department, and require a Clinical Informatics Trainer with prior experience supporting an IT. The ideal candidate will have excellent office skills in Microsoft operating systems and applications. He/She will be congenial and discrete, and have a polished telephone manner.

Clinical Informatics Trainer
Under the leadership of the Project Manager the Clinical Informatics Trainer will lead training initiatives for end users of NextGen EPM/EMR system. This position requires strong oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
· In addition to conducting training activities, he/she will monitor the effectiveness of training and revise/update training materials accordingly.
· Provide on-site training and support to end users as needed
· Report training activities to project management
· Participate in application upgrade testing and implementation
· Maintain knowledge of current medical informatics, trends and changes in healthcare information technologies
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Medical discipline or equivalent training, required (Nurse, PA)
· 2+ years experience in clinical training and developing of training materials required
· Demonstrated ability to perform group training as well as one on one training sessions
· Knowledge of Medical Practice Management operations preferred
· NextGen EMR/EPM experience a plus
· Strong computer skills required
· Knowledge of MS, Power Point, and Word a plus.
