Client / Server Network Architect

Smartronix is seeking a top level Client/Server Network Architect as a technical expert responsible for the analysis, design and development of multiple client/server networks of various security classification levels in support of a Combatant Command.  The candidate must be able to develop the strategy of client/server system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy.  The candidate will also advise our client on selection of technical purchases with regard to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.  The candidate will set standards for the client/server relational database structure for the organization (SQL, SYBASE, ORACLE). The candidate will advise our client of feasibility of future projects to management, analyze requirements for data systems and networks, and recommends preferred solutions that optimize engineering, management, and cost parameters.  The candidate will be responsible for preparing technical reports, making recommendations based on technical analysis and determining hardware functional specifications and ultimate creation of enterprise wide-network applications and connectivity.  Required experience: Knowledge and experience in IT processes necessary for analyzing, designing, and developing highly complex IT solutions.
