Clarkston’s Client Sales Executive (CSE) creates, implements and carries to closure account plans and the sales process across Clarkston’s service lines. The CSE will be responsible for generating leads and selling projects for new clients and/or identifying additional sales opportunities for existing clients in the South region. The CSE will be dedicated to a strategic region and will align sales with Clarkston’s vertical strategy.

•Builds and uses a broad external network of influencers within an industry
•Develops and maintains depth across multiple industries
•Translates seemingly unrelated information into knowledge
•Identifies new markets for penetration
•Advises leaders and customers on strategic business/technical direction, issues and needs
•Selects qualified opportunities to pursue with a high probability of success to maximize resource
•Assess a prospect’s complex financial situation to identify ways to provide strategic value to the prospect’s business
•Articulate value-based pricing and the impact of the proposed solution on business performance and market share
•Maintains appropriate margin rates set by the corporation
•Identifies the political structure of the organization to build an effective political strategy
•Develops strategic recommendations to advance a prospect’s strategic objectives
•Creates political drivers (agendas, power struggles, industry insight,) to secure position
•Anticipates change in the political environment
•Uses competitive counter tactics to slow competition’s momentum and establish competitive advantage
•Addresses contract issues prior to negotiation to set priorities on critical issues
•Leads contract negotiations and ensures sign-off for a win/win contract
Basic Qualifications:
•A Bachelor’s degree in Business, or an equivalent discipline. An MBA is preferred.
•A minimum of five (5) years of prior experience selling solutions in a professional service consulting environment is required.
•Proven skills selling to senior level officers (i.e. CIO, CEO, CFO).
•Outstanding track record of success in achieving metrics and quotas as an individual contributor in a direct sales environment.
•Experience and knowledge of business processes, packaged solutions (e-Commerce, CRM, Supply Chain, ERP), and the consulting industry
•Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
•Proven ability to work in a team environment

•Experience selling SAP solutions.
