Chief Operational Officer

Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be a senior member of the management team and will play a critical role in company operation. The COO will assume responsibility for managing all operational aspects of the company and will assist the Chairman/CEO in the aggressive and successful growth strategy of the company. The COO will be responsible for the managers in the following departments: business development, administration, marketing and finance.


Primary Responsibilities
• Advise CEO and BOD on strategic business development and key corporate planning issues and make recommendations on major business decisions.
• Shape and develop department strategy and organization. Help identify opportunities and potential threats to each department as well as facilitate smooth operation between each department.
• Set performance goals which are tailored to each department. Develop operational goals for each department.
• Encourage managers to evaluate and take actions that are consistent with company's overall strategy which will lead to high performance.
• Monitor manager and department performance, conduct reviews/meetings and take appropriate steps to ensure company's overall goals are being achieved.

Qualifications
Successful candidates will have a BS/BA in business administration, preferable an MBA and over 10 years experience in senior leadership positions within the wireless technology field. The ideal applicant will also have experience in marketing directives.
