As a Solutions Consultant based out of your home office anywhere near a major airport in the mainland U.S., you will travel 70% of the time to support Canon customers nationwide. Your primary mission will be to provide pre-sales support for the functional and technical aspects of the sales cycle, including discovery sessions and requirements gathering; configuring, preparing, and demonstrating our software products and solutions; conducting and managing Proof of Value activities and providing additional support to Account Executives to move the sales cycle along. Key to your success will be your ability to qualify opportunities, ensure software proposals meet customer's business requirements and to convert leads into successful deals. Your software application sales background and solutions development life cycle experience will be beneficial as you present and articulate the software advanced product features and value, product future direction and the overall software solution. With direct feedback from the field, you will work with the sales and marketing teams to develop and deliver high quality standard software presentations and demonstrations. Possessing excellent business communication skills will be key as you support trade shows, educational seminars and open houses and train dealer and customer sales engineers to support and administer customized solutions. Additionally, Microsoft, CDIA+, Network Plus certifications and any experience within the software solutions industry will set you apart from your peers.
