CRM Business Systems Analyst

Apex Systems, a Top 10 Information Technology & Engineering Recruiting organization, has an opportunity available for a CRM Business Systems Analyst in the greater Austin area.  This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity with a financial company.

The CRM Business Systems Analyst/Systems Developer is to work with the sales departments (Financial Advisor Marketing and Institutional Marketing) to support, configure, and enhance our customer relationship management (CRM) systems. This individual will analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and support our suite of CRM solutions across the global firm. The CRM Business Analyst/Systems Developer will analyze business requirements, procedures, and problems and apply sound technology concepts to address those requirements. This involves adding new functionality and extending the systems capabilities. This position will implement changes within application(s), test those changes to ensure accuracy, and work with the Financial Advisor Marketing and Institutional Marketing departments to accept and deploy the new software, functionality, and capabilities. The successful candidate for this position will be analytically and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and problem solve.

Minimum Requirements:

Five plus years experience in extending and support 3rd party CRM solutions, preferably SalesLogix
Two plus years ASP.NET development skills, C# preferred
Three to five years experience with MS SQL Server 2000/2005 database
Knowledge of Visual Basic 6.0
Knowledge of DTS (data transformation services – thru Active X, VB script)
Strong business analysis and data skills in customized requirements gathering
Strong interpersonal and relationship building client skills with a delivery based orientation
Ability to maintain and manage several projects while managing clients’ expectations
Excellent communications (oral and written)
Experience with project life cycle methodologies and best practices
Mutual fund, financial services, and/or money management knowledge a plus
Bachelor’s degree. in Computer Information Systems, Science, Business or equivalent experience
Proficient with Visio and Microsoft Office products, especially Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel and Access
Ability to work independently to meet project requirements with minimal supervision
Ability to present ideas and information in group settings
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
