C# Developers

 Envision LLC is looking for C# Developers for multiple openings. Must have 5-10 years experience with C#, SQL, XML and Win Forms. Other positions require SharePoint, Linux platform or Mobile platforms.

 

SharePoint Position:

The primary role of the developer is to develop solutions in SharePoint using XSL (-T), CSS, HTML and ASP.NET and C#.

Technical skills are the key to this role but we also require excellent communication skill (both written and oral). This role can entail true development or design and configuration in technologies like SharePoint or Media Servers. Design experience is required for this role. This role requires senior level skills in SharePoint development using MOSS 2007.

This role also has responsibility for ensuring how projects are developed and what approach is taken based on Monsanto Standards (SharePoint, .NET, Web, Usability). This role is primarily a development task oriented role but also is accountable for design approach and following standards as well as making sure that other developers on their project follow set standards if more than one developer is on the project. This role will not define these standards and approaches but will need to work within our governance model and ensure that the team does as well.

 

C#/Linux Position:

Primary responsibility will be to provide application, tool, and database development for the server platform product. Significant development experience using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL is mandatory. Development experience with Web Services and XML is also desired. Experience with data modeling and database administration, especially SQL Server, is also desired. This position reports to the Server Platform Lead Engineer.

 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

·  Server platform product application, tool, and database development (architecture, design, coding, test, etc.).

·  Creation of design and code related documentation.

·  Partition major work products into manageable and measurable components.

·  Coordinate work assignments with other developers though the Server Platform Lead Engineer.

·  Coordinate work assignments with other developers though project management.

·  Provide project management with quantifiable data regarding development status.

·  Assist Management in determining the need for new personnel and/or equipment.

·  Travel to customer sites to provide support assistance or technical presentations.

·  Provide Level 3 product support as required.

·  Assist in the development of product deliverable documentation (User Guides, etc.)

 

Mobile Position:

Primary responsibility will be to provide application development for all mobile device platform products designed.  The primary platform will be Windows Mobile, but assistance for application development on other platforms, especially Symbian and Palm OS, will also be required. Significant development experience using C/C++/C# is required. This position reports to the Lead Mobile Platform Engineer.

 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

·  Windows Mobile platform device software development (architecture, design, coding, test, etc.). Other platform development as needed.

·  Creation of design and code related documentation.

·  Documenting and alerting Management to new releases in applicable platforms.

·  Assist Architects in defining enabling technologies to enhance current product line.

·  Partition major work products into manageable and measurable components.

·  Coordinate work assignments with other developers though project management.

·  Provide project management with quantifiable data regarding development status.

·  Conduct technical discussions with customers and/or vendors as required.

·  Provide Level 3 product support as required.

·  Assist in the development of product deliverable documentation (User Guides, etc.)
